Piano Christmas

Tara M. Clapper
At first it was a picture
Set in a box
And wrapped in silver paper
That smelled of magic and snow.

And then it was a message
When I put the gloves on
Afraid to smear the keys.

At last it was a guide,
Now protected and missed,
Always loved with its
Elegant design.
