Picture Perfect

A Phenomenon!

Cassie Mae
Picture Perfect on Multiply.com has become my favorite site to visit besides AC Content! The site was started by a lovely woman who blogs. The idea of Picture Perfect took on a life of its own and she had to create a second blog for her writings. You will find over 200 comments on most of her blogs. (I think she should bring it on to AC Content!) She usually has to make a second blog for more comments so the page does not take too long to load.

Here is how it works. Each week a theme is given on Wednesday or Thursday. Bloggers post a photo of their take on the description of the theme by Friday as postings close at midnight. I have come across many talented photographers! Bloggers usually post a paragraph on what their thought was for choosing the particular photo. The creator writes a wonderful little poem to go with her photo.

I have been to places I never would have ventured to with the theme "Around the World." There were monuments posted, countryside, city sites, every day things the blogger sees which are unique to us. Strange things. Fun things. You name it, it was there.

For Valentine's Day the theme was "Red." We saw blazing red sunsets, people in love, my son at age three with a red scrunchie and shirt on which he now hates at age seven!

The "Contrast" theme brought a lot of abstract fascinating art.

The "Worn" theme brought anything from worn shoes, pants, to my tired looking husband with our three energy bunny boys sitting in the background behind him.

This site has opened up friendships from every country!

You feel like you are at an art gallery most times without leaving the comfort of your house! Who can ask for more?

It is fun to participate and receive comments. People come up with their take on your photo. A great way for everyone to share their creativity.

Everyone is welcome to this site. The same rules are posted each week. You are to post your own photo, not one off of the Internet. Post a comment on Picture Perfect's page with the link to your blog. That way you will get more comments and share with as many people as possible. It is your choice if you want to share the camera and lens used. You never know who is looking for a new camera! Or someone may be trying to work on their photography so any tips on lenses or lighting used would be helpful. If you alter your photo just mention it. The creator encourages thinking outside of the box.

Come one, come all and join in the phenomenal opportunity to see and meet people from around this amazing world.
