Pictures of New PA Home Beyonce and Jay-Z Are Rumored to Be Buying

Pennsylvania is abuzz with news that Beyonce and Jay-Z are moving to Schuylkill County. I heard it first on the local news channel, WNEP-16. They reportedly got the news from the Associated Press (AP) but said the original source of the gossip is unknown.

The sellers of the multi-million dollar estate in New Ringgold PA, that the stars reportedly have shown interest in, confirmed that they have shown the home and potential buyers have expressed interest. Featured in Architectural Digest in 2004, the 16,000 square foot home was built of natural materials by Peter Bohlin for Sharon and Jay Linard in 2000.

Stone fireplaces, in-ground pool, jacuzzi, a wall of windows, guest house, barn, guest house, elevator(s), security system, and a floor plan with public and private spaces are just a few of the amenities included with this beautiful property retreat. There are more bathrooms than bedrooms in this upscale home.

Pennsylvania residents and fans of the Grammy winning stars are quite excited about the prospect of the couple moving to the Blue Mountains. New Ringgold, PA is not far from the Poconos, a region that is home to many New York commuters. It is just a short two hour drive from Manhattan and not far from where Jay-Z grew up.

Beyonce and Jay-Z keep a low profile so the rumor of them moving to PA is not too far-fetched. Why would they even consider moving to such a rural part of Northeast PA? Perhaps it is the Yuengling brew or maybe they want to escape Hollywood. It is just a short two hour drive from Manhattan and not far from where Jay-Z grew up (Brooklyn NY and later Trenton, NJ).

Beyonce and Jay-Z have yet to confirm or deny the rumor that they are moving to PA. The area could certainly use the realty tax that would come with the sale of the property the couple is rumored to be considering. I live an hour from Schuylkill and there are certainly no celebrities living anywhere near this area - yet.

Ironically, I just discovered that my neighbor's dad used to work on Muhammad Ali's father's cars. I am digressing but this made me think of a conversation I had with a friend about the six degrees of separation. Based on that concept, it is possible that the news was passed on from friends that Beyonce and Jay-Z are considering a move to Northeast PA.
