Pillow Top Matresses

Poem by Jay Crider

Jay Crider
Pillow to mattresses,
quirky ad music,
and
cheaply made furniture
paints the moment
with remembrance;
in this Lot, of Big,
understated,
overrated crap.

The meal,
that started the trip,
at the coral
of golden gluttons
creates
a heaviness
in in the gut;
finally,
the journey comes
to an end.

Back in the solitude
of this man made
cave only to, happily,
become a slave
to the tubes
idiocracy.
Funny videos
clog the waves
showing that
programming this day
strays.

interrupted by
the lover's nose
eager to oblige
as sappy romantic flicks
pass on the screen;
etching the final piece
with a serene green.

tremendous weight,
released,
floods the spirit
with an objective eye
and
concludes with
the days surmise.

Again, life, feels alive.
