Pine Valley's Top 20 New Year's Resolutions

Many people make goals and resolutions whenever a new year is beginning. What would the denizens of Pine Valley want to do for the new year? What types of things would they want to change? As a long-timer viewer of All My Children, I have come up with Pine Valley's top 20 New Year's resolutions, based on what I've seen this year and what I know of the characters' personalities.

Jackson Montgomery

1. Regain my license to practice law and keep it this time.

2. Win a case--any case.

Greenlee Smythe

3. Make everyone understand that my needs and desires come first. When I express a desire to help other people, it's because I need to do it, not because they need my help. I need them to understand that.

Kendall Hart Slater

4. Make everyone understand that they should do what I say, because I'm the only one who knows what's best for them.

Ryan Lavery

5. Make everyone understand the importance of doing exactly as I say, when I say.

Caleb Cortlandt

6. Get those other people out of my house. Or Pete's house. Whichever. Pete left it to me. Why did I let Bianca and those brats move in, anyway?

JR Chandler

7. Get permanent full-time custody of my son. He's my son. He's a Chandler, which means he must remain with me, under my influence, for the rest of his life.

8. Get married again, to a Chandler--or any other man in this town who has power.
