Pinky and the Brain: Returning Television on Toon Disney's Jetix
Returning October 1, 2008 on Toon Disney's Jetix at 9:30 P.M.
Pinky and Brain
Pinky and Brain are two of the cutest, funniest and furry little characters in a cartoon, since Tom and Jerry. Brain is the short mouse with an enlarged head and a higher intelligence. Pinky is the tall thin mouse with two big teeth. He is so smart that he is stupid, but he is also adorable. These two together are complete opposites but a unique pair indeed. They both have different personalities, characteristics and goals, which is what makes them so funny. Pinky is very dingy and goofy, yet his silliness and lack of understanding mixed with Brain and his need for tolerance brings such humor to this cartoon.
Their Home-the Lab
These charming little critters do not live in the traditional home where a mouse would normally live, nor do they scurry about rummaging for food or shelter. Instead, Pinky and Brain have their own little home in the research lab, where they live in a cage. However, Brain is not happy with this and continually wants more.
Scheming For Control
When the Scientists leave the lab for the day, Brain whips out his maps and gear, so he can explain his new founded ideas to Pinky. He tells about how wants to venture out thinking his diabolical inventiveness will help him to rule over everything and everyone. Sometimes, Brain uses his drawing board and stick to illustrate his newfound strategy to Pinky, but he is not paying attention. Brain gets upset with him, so he will smack him and tell him to pay attention and listen. No matter what plans these two may have, they always manage to fail, and the plans backfired. The funny thing is that Brain is always thinking of and inventing new ideas, but Pinky is the one who ends up being smarter than Brain sometimes. Just when you think he does not understand, you will see at the end Pinky does understand more than he lets on. This is what makes him so smart that he is stupid.
Pinky and the Brain are two silly little mice who are always getting into some sort of trouble. Their wild and crazy stunts will entertain your family with good clean fun that will keep you laughing. Watching Pinky and the Brain is like watching the cartoon version of Laurel and Hardy, and you will fall in love them.
