Finally! With all of the Princess Dinners and Tea Parties for little girls at Walt Disney World, it looks like Disney management has been listening and has heard the outcry for more activities for boys throughout the Walt Disney World Resorts. As of early May 2009, the Magical Fireworks Grand Gathering Voyage has been transformed into Pirate and Pals, a pirate adventure cruise for the entire family, and it will be open to everyone starting July 13, 2009.

The exciting Pirate and Pals, pirate voyage starts off at Walt Disney World Contemporary Resort, with snacks (candy, fruits, popcorn, pretzels, cookies, soda, water and juice). Your favourite Pirate, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee will start the pirate adventure off at the dessert reception. This family pirate cruise is hosted by Patch the Pirate who shares Disney Trivia and songs with his new crew members while cruising the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake, where you will watch the Electrical Water Pageant and will be able to sit back and relax and watch the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks display over the Magic Kingdom. When Walt Disney World's Pirate Adventure Cruise brings you back to the dock, the leader of the Lost Boys, Peter Pan will be waiting to take pictures and sign autographs for you.

Walt Disney World's Pirates and Pals Adventure Cruise is offered Fridays - Mondays. Time will be determined on what what the schedule is for the fireworks on that evening, which will be told to you by the Walt Disney World Cast Member when booking the Pirates and Pals adventure cruise.

Price is $53.99 (Adults aged 10+) and $30.99 (Children 3-9)

Reservations can be booked up to 90 days in advance for the Pirates and Pals family pirate cruise by calling Walt Disney at 407-WDW-PLAY
