Autumn Skies
No family vacation to Orlando, Florida is complete without a couple rounds of miniature golf. And one of the best spots to play miniature golf in Orlando, Florida is at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf. Here is a review of Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf in Orlando, Florida.

Orlando Magazine has voted Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf as a "Best in Florida" for miniature golf. And for good reason. Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf offers one of the most thrilling miniature golf courses in the Sunshine State. With an exciting yet beautiful setting, you'll be transported back to the Golden Age of Piracy while enjoying some lighthearted fun with the whole family.

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is fun for all ages, or as they say, from age 3 to 93. Children and adults alike will enjoy the whimsical holes and scenery, from waterfalls to pirate ships. You can choose between the Captain's Course or Blackbeard's Challenge - or go ahead and try them both on for size. Adults pay just $9.95 per course, or $13.95 for the 36-Hole Adventure. For children, the price dips to $8.95 per course, or $12.50 for the 36-Hole Adventure.

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is open every day from 9 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. year round. It is located at 8501 International Drive, between Mercado and the Castle Hotel, in Orlando, Florida. And it's just one mile from the Orlando Convention Center.

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf offers locations around the country, including one in nearby Lake Buena Vista, at 12545 SR 535 in the Crossroads Shopping Center.

For the past two decades, Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf has been serving up mini-golf fun. If you only have time to take on one course at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, I recommend Blackbeard's Challenge. Just beware dropping your ball into the dreaded water traps.

The best time to experience Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf in Orlando, Florida is in the late afternoon or in the evening, when the Orlando sun is not at it's most scorching hot. Eighteen holes can seem like fifty when it's ninety-four degrees in the shade. If you do go during the midday heat, be sure to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, keep your head covered and stay hydrated. At any time, you may want to bring along the bug spray.

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf ranks right up there with Disney's courses, so take a few hours and have a blast.
