Pittsburgh Inspired Restaurants in Myrtle Beach

Amy Kay
There are thousands of restaurants in Myrtle Beach, but only a few offer dining experiences that rival the Pittsburgh restaurant scene. If you are craving a bit of the 'burgh at the beach, check out these Pittsburgh inspired restaurants in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Umberto's- a Pittsburgh Italian Trattoria.

You haven't experienced Italian food until you've visited Umberto's restaurant in Myrtle Beach's Barefoot Landing. If you are looking for a low key atmosphere, this isn't your place. The crowd is usually lively, and they've been known to break into a powerful rendition of "here we go Steelers".

Come to this unique Pittsburgh inspired restaurant with a big appetite. "First Courses" include fresh bread, traditional tomato and green pepper salad, greens and beans, and a pasta selection. Main dishes include delicious Italian pastas, steaks, seafood, a wide veal selection, and the biggest pork chops you've ever laid your eyes on- guaranteed. If you leave room for dessert, Umberto's has some of the best cannolis on Myrtle Beach.

Bob Montanari, a Pittsburgh native and owner of Umberto's, is usually walking around the restaurant greeting guests. It doesn't matter if you're from Pittsburgh or Los Angeles, he'll treat you like a long lost relative. From the personable staff, to the pictures on the wall, this restaurant will remind you of grandma's (only better!).

Oscar's

If the black and gold exterior doesn't tip you off, the huge Steeler emblem will. Oscar's brings a whole lot of Pittsburgh to this Myrtle Beach restaurant. Whether you want to grab some lunch after a round of golf, or catch the big game with your family, Oscar's is your place at 4101 Highway 17 South.

This Myrtle Beach restaurant is popular with the locals, and for good reason. You won't find a better burger and fries or a wider array of sandwich selection in all of Myrtle Beach. Oscar's also offers Mancini's bread- right from Pittsburgh. Oscar's may be a sports bar, but it's kid friendly. There are board games to occupy your children while they wait for their meals. There are over 90 televisions throughout the restaurant and a few in the bathroom, just to make sure you don't miss any important plays. With it's quirky interior featuring football helmets, bobble heads, and cartoon figurines, this Myrtle Beach restaurant is a one of a kind dining experience.

Murphy's Law

Murphy's Law is located on 405 South Kings Highway. If you are looking for some Iron City beer in Myrtle Beach, look no further than this Pittsburgh inspired restaurant and sports bar. Famous for it's hot wings, delicious oysters, and Steeler inspired interior, Murphy's Law is a must-visit Myrtle Beach restaurant. Murphy's Law offers deck dining, pool tables and over 15 beers on tap. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. This Pittsburgh inspired Myrtle Beach restaurant is popular with the locals and the sports fans. With cheap beer, good food, and great people, you can't ask for anything more.
