Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Bill Cowher Retires

Pittsburgh Steelers is losing a great man today. Coach Bill Cowher has retired. He was a fantastic coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers for fifteen long years and has led them to many victories for the Steelers fans. He announced he is going to retire so that he can spend more time with his wife and his daughters and just enjoy his life. Coach Cowher led the Steelers to their Super Bowl victory last January. The Pittsburgh Steelers will now begin the task of finding a replacement coach. They are said to be looking in their own organization. Coach Cowher will be missed by all the players and the fans.

When Cowher was asked if he felt burned out he answered no. He is just looking forward to having more time with his family, and maybe working on his golf game.
When reporters asked Cowher is he plans on returning to coaching anytime soon he said that he has no time-line or plans other then spending his time with his family. Cowher says he and his family will be spending lots of time in Pittsburgh .They love the city and all the people.

    He was truly the best coach for the steelers.One thing
    that i miss about him so bad is when a team like New
    England dismantling almost every teams now,i wish he
    was still coaching the steelers.I feel alot confident
    with him around,least he won't let New England blow
    his team away,instead i still feel he would take care
    of it like he did with Colts.Im sure he will be able
    to look at Coach Bellichick'eyes and shake hands when
    it is all over.

    That was too bad that he retired. I think he was the scapegoat for what was going wrong this season.
