First and foremost it is important to understand that Papa Murphy's is not your traditional pizzeria; you're not going to be able to order a pizza from here and come in to pick it up piping hot right out of the oven - and this is where many people seem to get confused. Instead, Papa Murphy's makes your pizza using all toppings that are just as fresh (if not fresher) than Papa John's, but instead of baking it they leave your pizza frozen. This allows you to come and pick it up, take it home and bake it at your own leisure; and you can see why it is quite appealing to some households. And with specialty pizzas that are not available anyone else, like their Halloween Pizza that resembles a pumpkin or their heart-shaped Valentine's Day pizzas, Papa Murphy's is able to fill a niche that no other pizza chain attempts.
Papa John's on the other hand is based off from the traditional concept of a pizzeria chain - you order your pizza, and in 20 to 45 minutes you can either pick up your pizza in the store fresh out of the oven, or you can have it delivered to your house. Papa John's offers a variety of options including several low-priced specialty pizzas, and a vast assortment of side items such as chicken wings, breadsticks, cheese sticks, cinnamon pastries, and more. While Papa John's everyday prices can be a little steep for some consumers, they offer many great deals which actually make for quite an affordable pizza.
In the end, there really is very little contest here. If it's hot, fresh-baked pizza you want delivered right to your doorstep then Papa John's is certainly the way to go. But if you'd rather have the convenience of being able to stop by a local store and have your pizza made with fresh ingredients for you to bake at home in your own oven, Papa Murphy's is the clear choice in this match-up.

Post a CommentPapa Murphy's never freeze their pizzas. They get it ready right in front of you and all you have to do it bake it for about 20 minutes, it's so simple and very delicious. I've never ate at Papa John's before but I doubt it's as good. I recommend Papa Murphy's to all of you pizza lovers !
"but instead of baking it they leave your pizza frozen."
To be clear, they never freeze the pizza. It's made fresh - never frozen.
