Pizza Cookie Pie with Strawberries: Quick, Easy Creamy Dessert

This recipe is delicious and goes along way. I made this for a barbecue we had, and everyone thought it was different and very tasty. Just bake the store-bought cookie dough on a pizza pan, add the special topping made with whipped topping and cream cheese, and there you have it. It only takes about 20 minutes to make this. I bake the cookie dough last thing at night or first thing in the morning if it's hot outside to keep the house cool. This is simple and yummy.

1 package (20 ounce) refrigerated cookie dough. I used chocolate chip, but sugar cookie dough is great too.
1 package (8 ounce) Cream Cheese that is softened.
1/2 cup of sugar
1 plastic tub (8 ounce) of whipped topping.
1 pint of fresh strawberries or strawberry ice cream topping. You may use the fruit of your choice also.

Grease a 12 inch pizza pan. Press cookie dough onto the entire pan, no need to go up the edges. Bake that at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. COOL.

Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar in a large bowl until well mixed. Gently stir in whipped topping.

Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. When ready to serve, top with the fruit. Keep refrigerated.

You can cut this into 12 pie slices. It is also very good with chocolate syrup drizzled on the top too! To save calories, use low fat ingredients for cream topping. Enjoy!

I love Sunday dinners with family. Nice summer bbq s are the greatest. I try to have a peaceful life without the outside world affecting it. That s a challenge in itself!  View profile
