Pizza Dip Recipes for Super Bowl Sunday

With Super Bowl Sunday fast approaching, it's time to look through the recipe box and find some easy dip recipes that will please the crowd at you Super Bowl party. These three combine the ease of dips with a favorite food of many - pizza.

1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Savory Herb with Garlic Soup Mix
16 oz. sour cream
8 oz. ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup diced pepperoni (optional)

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. In a one-quart baking dish, combine sour cream, ricotta, soup mix, 3/4 cup mozzarella, and pepperoni, topping the mixture with remaining mozzarella. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes; serve with bread pieces or tortilla chips.

Pizza Dip (Family Circle magazine, December 2009 - submitted by Kathleen Valle)

8 oz. softened cream cheese
3/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 cup shredded mozzarella
8 oz. diced pepperoni
2 ripe plum tomatoes, chopped
10 large pitted black olives, chopped

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. Mix ingredients together in a large bowl, then spoon into six-cup baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes, until lightly browned. Served with bread pieces.

Layered Pizza Dip (courtesy of Pillsbury)

8 oz. cream cheese with chives and onion
1/2 cup chunky pizza sauce
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/3 cup diced pepperoni
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. In a 9" pie plate or 1-1/2 quart baking dish, layer ingredients in the order listed. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes (until cheese is melted). Serve with bagel chips or crisps, or crackers.
