Pizza Hut in Hillsville, Virginia: Review

Worst Dining Experience of a Lifetime

Carly Love
Pizza Hut in Hillsville, Virginia is quite possible the worst restaurant in Hillsville town limits. The staff are rude and dirty, the buffet is empty and old, the orders are always wrong, and the pizza never tastes like it should. I forgot to mention that they do not have delivery services.

Recently I had a very bad experience with this Pizza Hut. There are two listed phone numbers for this place. I called the first one and the phone rang for three minutes, so I hung up thinking that it was the wrong number. I then called the second number and let it ring for over five minutes. I became frustrated and hung up again and got online.

They now have the feature where you can order your pizza online and then go pick it up. Well I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with just ham and pineapple. I asked for extra cheese and for stuffed crust. I was unable to drive to the Pizza Hut to pick it up so I had a family member go get the pizza and bring it home to me. When I opened the box my pizza only had cheese and four pieces of ham on it. At this point I was steaming mad. So I called the first phone number again. Watching the clock while it was ringing, somebody finally picked up after ten minutes. I was greeted with nothing more than a "Hello?". When I told the person that answered the phone my problem he gave me attitude saying that it was not his fault and that they were out of pineapple.

When ordering online you give your name and phone number. When Pizza Hut received my order online they could easily have called and told me that they were out of pineapple, but instead they sent me a naked pizza. Needless to say I reported this online to Pizza Hut and I talked to the manager of the local restaurant.

A close friend of mine has had similar problems at this restaurant too. She was out to lunch with her friends and they had all ordered the buffet. At the time of ordering there was only one cheese pizza to pick from and it was cold. The salad bar was wilted and brown. About fifteen minutes later they brought out another cheese pizza, it was also already cold. My friend complained to her waitress about it and the waitress returned her critique with nothing more than a bad attitude.

After my most recent, and worst, experience I will not be returning to Pizza Hut in Hillsville, Virginia. They get one star out of five for me. I do not recommend this restaurant.
