Pizza Hut Offers 1,111 Free Pizzas on 1/1/11

Drew Taylor
Pizza Hut is celebrating the New Year by giving away 1,111 of its stuffed crust pizzas. The popular pizzas feature a ring of cheese baked into the outer rim of the hand-tossed style dough, creating a cheese-filled handle and sportsfan-friendly food. This freebie will likely go fast, but here are the giveaway details to help you become one of the chosen 1,111 on 1/1/11.

Facebook Freebie
The exact start time is a mystery, but the saucy giveaway will begin some time on January 1, 2011. To participate, "Like" Pizza Hut on Facebook. Then watch for a status update announcing the start time and complete terms of the offer. Once the feeding frenzy begins, the first 1,111 people to click on the wall and submit their contact information will receive a $10 Pizza Hut gift card valid toward the purchase of a stuffed crust pizza.

The good news is the gift card offers greater flexibility than a generic coupon or discount code. However, taxes and delivery charges, if applicable, bump the cost of a pizza beyond the $10 gift card.

Pizza Hut Special Offers
If you are planning to watch the Rose Bowl on TV or celebrate the New Year at home, Pizza Hut also offers pasta dishes, chicken wings, calzones, breadsticks and desserts. Specials vary by location, so be sure to check for offers available in your area.

Current promotions include a variety of affordable delivery options. A one-topping stuffed crust is $10 for a limited time. Large pizzas, with up to three toppings, and medium specialty pizzas are also $10 each. Visit the Pizza Hut website to view a menu complete with prices.
