Places to Buy a Pink Christmas Tree Skirt

Find One to Buy, or Make One!

Christmas is right around the corner and it's once again time to think about your Christmas decorations. Will you choose to decorate for Christmas with a particular theme or perhaps go with a one or two specific color theme? At one time, the only colors you could get for Christmas decorating was red, green, silver and gold. Thank goodness those days are long gone! Now we can choose to decorate in our favorite colors for Christmas.

My favorite colors are pink and green and I couldn't be more excited now that I know I can find pink Christmas decorations. I even like the pink Christmas trees. But now that I do know I can decorate for Christmas in different shades of pink tones, I need to find a place to buy the different pink Christmas decorations I will need. Once I've found a place to buy the pink Christmas tree, lights, and decorations, I will need to find a pink Christmas tree skirt. Unfortunately pink Christmas tree skirts are not that easy to find but I did manage to find a few for sale online. Plus I've got some other ideas to help you get that pink Christmas tree skirt, no matter what!

Target.com has one pink Christmas tree skirt available. It is their "sequined tree skirt - pink" and it is 48 inches round in size. It is made from a cotton material and has three rows of sparkly pink sequins around the edges of the skirt and sells for $24.99.

Over at TropicalBreezeDecor.com, they have one pink Christmas tree skirt that is pretty as well as humorous. It is their "pink flamingo theme appliqué Christmas tree skirt." It features two flamingos wearing sunglasses that are appliquéd to the fabric and it has colorful stitching and hot pink edging. The flamingo tree skirt is 26 inches in size and has two ribbon ties to tie it together at the bottom. The other side of the tree skirt is turquoise. It sells for $36.95. And if you love the pattern and colors, TropicalBreezeDecor.com also sells a matching stocking for $23.95.

ChristmasPlace.com sells a "hot pink snowman tree skirt" for $39.99. It features two snowmen wearing ice skates as they skate around a Christmas tree with hot pink mountains behind them and hot pink scalloped edges. It is adorable.

Ebay.com has a larger selection of pink Christmas tree skirts to choose from than any other retailer/e-tailer that I could find. Some of them are on live auction so the selection will vary from week to week but its well worth your time to check them out. You can choose light pink or a darker pink or even a different color tree skirt but with a pink faux fur trim. There is even a pink Disney princess's tree skirt. There are enough options to choose from that you won't have to settle on just any pink Christmas tree skirt.

If you're creative and can sew, you can make your own pink Christmas tree skirt. All you need is a pattern to make a Christmas tree skirt and then buy your favorite pink fabric from the huge selection of pink fabrics available such as those at Joann.com, for example. With a bit of extra work, you can appliqué different Christmas themed items onto your pink Christmas tree skirt. There are products that you can use to easily iron fabric to fabric or you can just sew your appliqués on. This is the way to have any design you want on your tree skirt.

If you're feeling really adventurous but want to go the easy route, you can buy several yards of either a pink fleece fabric or pink felt and cut it into a circle in the size you need for your Christmas tree. Fleece and felt fabric don't unravel at the edges once they're cut so you don't even need to hem it. If you want an extra whimsical touch, you can cut and create fringe all around the edges of your pink fleece fabric Christmas tree skirt. I don't believe the pink felt would work to create fringe however.

Another idea to help you get that pink Christmas tree skirt is to use a pink skirt, literally. Find a long pink skirt that you like at one of your local thrift stores, cut it up one side and hem the edges and you have a new pink Christmas tree skirt for very little money and work. In fact you may already have a pink skirt in your closet to use to create your very own, one-of-a-kind, pink Christmas tree skirt.

I love the coordinated look that can be pulled together when you go with an all one color decorating scheme. Decorating for Christmas in a non-traditional color such as pink can be a beautiful and unique touch that just may help you to have an extra special Christmas celebration this year. And it will definitely help you to have some gorgeous, and different, photo opportunities too!
