Home Depot probably has one of the larger selections of LED pre-lit trees available, though it's not much, that you can get in their store or on-line. Their choices include a 7-1/2 Ft. Pre-Lit Shute Fir with 405 Clear LED Lights or multi-colored lights for a decent price of $199. Another great choice is their 6-1/2 Ft. Pre-Lit LED Brundage Tree with 400 Multi-Color Lights for $349, but you get free shipping and if you purchase this on your Home Depot credit card, it will only cost you $11 a month. That would make it real easy to incorporate a new tree into your monthly budget. If you use your Master Card to make your purchase, you will also be entered in their sweepstakes which is giving away two Home Depot makeovers, two cars, two trips and two shopping sprees.
You may also find what you like at K-Mart and I was in the store the other day and these are some really nice looking trees. Artificial is artificial no matter how you look at it, but these trees come pretty close to looking real. One nice choice is a 6'1/2" Colorado Spruce pre-lit with multi-colored LED lights for a nice sale price of $299.99. You should hurry on this one though as this is a sale price and the regular price will add $100.
Classychristmastrees.com has a very large selection of LED pre-lit trees for the holidays, but expect to pay a higher price for the comfort of knowing that your tree will last through many more holidays than a regular pre-lit tree. Prices start at $359.99 for a 7 ½ foot Ashley Pine that comes pre-lit with 400 multi colored C-6 LED lights. It is constructed of PVC long tips with medium length needles all in a two tone green color. Each branch has multiple tips to create a very full, lush looking tree. The top price is $479.99 for a Bavarian Pine 7'1/2" foot LED multi-colored tree which has an open needle placement and attractive medium green color combine to create a "just cut" appearance for this tree! The mixture of PE and PVC medium length tips of long needles is pre-lit with 576 GE ConstantOn multi LED energy efficient lights. There several other choices with prices in between depending on the tree.

Post a CommentThanks for your article it was very interesting. I bought an unlit tree last year and strung it with PINK led lights and it was the cutest thing ever! I got the tree and LED lights at this great website www.christmascentral.com they have a great selection of trees, lights and everything Christmas. Better yet they have this stuff available ALL YEAR ROUND so I can plan way ahead for Christmas 2009. Check em out!!!!
very detailed info, nice job!
I'm definitely leaning toward LED lights this year...inside and out. They're longer lasting, brilliant, and won't break as easily as glass lights. They almost have a neon look to them, and I've always loved the looked of neon lights. Thanks for the information.
