I am a resident of Catawba County and while my kids are too old to enjoy a visit with Santa, I know yours may not be. If you live in Catawba County and thing my name is vaguely familiar it may be because I am a writer for the Claremont Courier.

Valley Hills Mall
Santa Clause will be visiting Valley Hills Mall this year and your kids can get their photo taken with the jolly fat man. Click here to see the days and times Santa will be around for photos at the Valley Hills Mall in Hickory North Carolina.
Echo's Variety Store
Echo's Variety Store is a thrift shop type store located at 2233 B Highland Avenue in Hickory, near the Wizard's bar. Santa Clause and one of the elves will be visiting Echo's from December 6th- December 23rd at 2 PM. Your child can have their photo taken with Santa at Echo's for $7 for the first sheet of pictures and $5 each for additional sheets. I believe this is the best deal on photos with Santa in the Hickory area.
Amish Oak and Cherry
The Amish Oak and Cherry store in the Hickory Furniture Mart will host Santa in their showroom on December 4th from 11 AM to 3 PM. This store has some very nice furniture as well. The store is suite 210 at 2220 Highway 70 SE in Hickory North Carolina.
Lake Hickory Country Club
December 5 from 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. have brunch with Santa! The Lake Hickory Country Club is offering brunch with Santa and there will be photos taken with the kids. You must make a reservation, to do that call 828-328-2981.
