See The Tofino Whale Center and Museum, or check out the Tofino Food and Wine Festival, the proceeds from the event go for improving the community. Travel 1 ½ hours north of Tofino to visit Hot Spring Cove, located in Maquinna Provincial Park.

San Juan Island is one of the four islands served by the Washington State Ferry System. From there, you can take the ferry to nearby Orcas Island, Lopez Island and Shaw Island. Visit the San Juan Wildlife Refuge, go kayaking, bicycling, whale watching, or sightseeing.
