So, what makes a Toronto, Canada vacation so great? Read on.
Rich Heritage. Toronto's early history began as a small stop on a french trading route. It did not take long for Toronto to become one of the best cities in Canada. American Europeans who were fleeing the American Revolution began a population boom that established the population of the best city in Canada. Immigrants from Ireland, France, and America give this city an eclectic array of culture which is reflected in their food, architecture, and language.
Great Attractions. The best city in Canada has to have great attractions. Toronto does not disappoint. While in Toronto make sure and visit the Sky Dome. If you are fortunate enough to catch a base ball game as I did, you will truly enjoy seeing nine innings of a great baseball team. Located about an hour from Toronto is Niagara Falls. Niagara is a place to visit year round though the late spring and summer are optimal. Other things to check out while in Canada include the Professional Hockey Hall of Fame, and the Royal Ontario Museum.
Great Food. Toronto ranks 2nd only to Miami as the city that has the most immigrants in North America. This means that there are hundreds of different types of food in the best city in Canada. Need a couple of suggestions on where to eat. Try Scaramouche. Scaramouche has been around for 20 years and has a fine French menu that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed for 2 straight nights. Other restaurants to put on your menu, Chez Victor, Truffles, and Zee Grill.
Great Hotels. The best city in Canada has to have great hotels and Toronto does not disappoint. The Sutton hotel gives its guests a truly European feel. Wrapping guests in luxury and overwhelming them with service the Sutton is a must stay for travelers from around the globe. If the Sutton is booked look into the Metropolitan, the Delta Chelsea, and the SoHo Metropolitan.
We hope you choose to plan a Toronto, Canada vacation soon.
