Plane Crash in Pakistan

Greg Seltz
At 7:45 a.m. an Airblue Jet departed from the city of Karachi, heading towards Islamabad. Though the weather consisted of heavy rains and possible lightning storms, it has not yet been determined whether it was the cause of this unfortunate tragedy. The Airbus A321 was released from the production line in 2000 and had since logged nearly 13,500 flights, and yet the aircraft was still considered flightworthy.

With 152 passengers aboard, eye witnesses noticed the plane decreasing altitude before nearing the Margalla Hills surrounding the city of Islamabad. Directly before impact, the aircraft attempted to pull up; however, it was already too near the earth. Though rescuers continue to scomb the remains of the Airbus, it is unlikely they will find any survivors. The dead included two United States citizens.

Let us pray for their families....

a terrible thing and everyone focuses on the dumb situation with the flight attendant's rant here that is so unimportant compared to this tragedy...thanks for reporting it
