Three years ago, I only had a week to find a vehicle. I knew what I wanted, but I was also aware there was a problem - it wasn't being made anymore. Using a website that searches used vehicles, I found what I wanted at two dealerships. All hope seemed lost when I saw the locations - Ohio and MA. Both were several states away. First, I called the dealership in Ohio and it turned out it had been sold.

Then I contacted Planet Subaru in Hanover, MA. I wasn't even all that certain that I'd have the time to drive up there to pick it up. But they assured me that they didn't mind holding it. I was completely shocked considering that I've had dealerships in the past tell me first come first serve.

Since I have a fax machine, they faxed all the necessary papers. And then I returned them immediately. I was approved for financing and everything was falling into place. Deciding that I was going to make this happen, I made the small down payment with my debit card.

Planet Subaru went above and beyond to help me get everything straight over the phone. Since I was in college at the time, I wasn't able to pick up the vehicle for about two weeks. This wasn't a problem at all for them. They even told me that they'd help me to return my rental car even though it was about thirty minutes away from the dealership.

I drove to MA in one day in my rental car, spent the night in a hotel, and then went to Planet Subaru the next morning. As soon as I told them my name upon arrival, they were so friendly. I was treated like royalty. And the vehicle, it was in perfect condition.

I did a test drive with the salesman who had helped me over the phone and then I signed the papers. It was the simplest transaction. There were no high pressured sales tactics to buy something extra that I didn't need. This was the perfect car buying experience.

It has been almost four years now and my vehicle is still running perfectly. I haven't had any problems with it at all. The only thing I've needed was preventative maintenance.
