The city also provides public transportation via transit buses, taxi's and rental cars you can rent from dealers in town or at Manchester Boston Regional Airport. Places to Visit While Traveling in Manchester
Depending on your plans while staying in Manchester the city has a lot to offer and is very diverse. If you're into art and culture you might want to make a stop at the Currier Museum of Art which showcases everything from local artists to rotating pieces by Monet and other famous artists. You can also visit the nearby Frank Lloyd Wright Zimmerman House, the only home designed Wright to be open to the public in New England.
If you are coming to Manchester for more of an outdoors getaway you can visit any of the parks in the city, or walk and bike along the Merrimack River. You can also visit Livingston Park which is a family friendly park with lots of activities going on that will catch your attention. You can also visit Lake Massabesic for another bike friendly day trip.
Nightlife and Things to See in Manchester
If you plan to enjoy a night out on the town there are plenty of night spots to visit including bars, night clubs and comedy clubs. If you enjoy a pub atmosphere I recommend Milly's Tavern and The Wild Rover Pub. If you are looking for other singles or just a night of dancing try Grand Nightclub and Lounge on Canal Street or Club on Chestnut Street.
If you're looking for laughs stop into Headliners Comedy Club for up-and-coming and established comedians. You can also stop into Boynton's Taproom for drinks and professional stand-up comedy on the weekends.
Places to Eat While Visiting Manchester
Manchester is also a great place for various restaurants from all over the world. You will find everything from Indian cuisine, Chinese food, Italian restaurants, French and Sushi.
For fine dining try Xo on Elm and the Hanover Street Chophouse. There are also many other fine dining places in the city with several facing the Merrimack River. You will also find Seafood restaurants throughout the city if you are looking for a taste of Maine Lobster and New England clams.
