Sands Casino in Bethlehem in a new casino in Pennsylvania. It was opened to the public on May 22, 2009 with only slot machines at opening. Table games came a year later after Pennsylvania passed table games into casinos. They have some great slot machines, all new with the tickets instead of coins. None of their slot machines pay out in coins.

They have a lot of penny machines, which are the most popular in the casino. Many of the penny slots are exciting with entertaining bonuses with chances to win a nice amount of money. I personally prefer the Black Knight and the Swords of Honor penny machines, they can pay out nicely in the bonus rounds. Penny machines are not the only machines they have, there are two cent machines, nickel machines, quarter machines, one dollar machine and high limit machines.

Sands offers a nice incentive for players to sign up for the My Sands Club card. They give you weekly money to play in the slot machines and also bonus days with extra money. Sands gives you complimentary (known as comp) dollars for eating as well. The free money that is given is based on the amount of play every time you visit.

The table games at Sands were put in during July of 2010. I have only been able to play on a table game once since they went in. They do not have enough Roulette tables for a big crowd of people. The table games are typically $15 minimum bet and up. Occasionally I have seen Roulette for $10, but the table is too crowded to play.

There are some good restaurants at Sands. Emeril's Burgers and More is my favorite. You can order a burger exactly how you want it. You are given a paper to circle everything you want your burger to have. Very good food there. Carnegie Deli is also in Sands. The Carnegie Deli was not as great as I expected it to be. You are limited to what you can get on your sandwich, has to be on bread not a roll, my roast beef was a big sandwich but did not have a lot of flavor. I choose not to eat there when I am at Sands. The buffet is open from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM. It is good food but not a huge selection of foods. It is only $10.95 so it is worth it, it could just use a bigger selection of foods. The buffet is called the Cobalt Cafe and is not a bad place to get food when the buffet is not in service. The Cobalt Cafe is open 24 hours. Emeril's Chophouse is located in Sands, however I have never eaten there. I have heard the food is excellent but do not know from experience. A food court is located next to the Cobalt Cafe for some good and quick food.

Overall I am quite happy visiting Sands, I go there once a week. The staff has always been friendly, the food is good and the slot machines are fun. My only real problem with Sands is the shortage of certain table games, which really is a problem on busy times.

This was based on my personal opinion on Sands Casino Resort. They do give me free money to play there every week, as they do all players who have a club card. They did not give me any compensation for a review.
