Planning a Webkinz-Themed Birthday Party

Does your child want a Webkinz-themed birthday party this year? Are you looking around for Webkinz party materials, but you can't seem to find any? Well in this article I am going to tell you how to make, where to get, and what you will need to have the perfect Webkinz birthday party, so read on!

Webkinz Invitations
Finding Webkinz invitations isn't going to be an easy task at all. The best way to get Webkinz invitations is to make your own. Consider creating invitations using Webkinz pictures on a program like Microsoft Publisher. It will be easy, and you will be able to customize them to look however you want. Make sure that you get special paper, and that you use a printer that will print in excellent quality. If you cannot do this, consider designing your invitation and then taking it to a print shop. If you do not want to do that, you can also make your own invitations, by using regular invitations in a solid color that you can get almost anywhere, and then gluing Webkinz pictures, cut-outs, or other Webkinz-like decorations on the front cover.

Webkinz Decorations
There are many types of decorations that you can use for a Webkinz-themed birthday party. Consider using streamers and balloons, and table centerpieces though, as you will most likely not have trouble finding and making these types of decorations. The streamers and balloons can be found at any store. Get them in different pastel colors, and place them all over. For the balloons, get some solid ones, print out some Webkinz pictures and glue them onto them.

For the table centerpieces, consider going to your local flower or gift shop and purchase some Webkinz plush animals and simply place them in the middle of the table. These will look very cute and they make for great centerpieces and party favors. If you can afford to get 2 or three per table, you may do so as well.

Creating Webkinz party games is not hard at all. Take all of the regular kids party games and play them, to make them Webkinz party games, give Webkinz prizes, such as Webkinz plush animals, trading cards, or even Kinz Cash certificates. Visit your local flower shop and ask if they have Webkinz merchandise that you can purchase, they usually do.

If you really want Webkinz candy bags, you can try going to a piñata maker and asking them to make Webkinz animal piñata baskets for you; these will not be cheap, but they will surely be wanted and loved by anyone who receives one.

When deciding whether to get a cake or cupcakes for your Webkinz-themed birthday party, the first thing that you should do make a final list how many guests you are going to have. Usually if you will have parents and kids you want to get a cake, but if you are going to have mostly kids, then cupcakes are great. In order to get Webkinz cake, go to your local bakery, take them a picture of the Webkinz animals and let them know you want your cake to have that picture on it. Let them know that you want them to use pastel colors only.

If you are going to get cupcakes instead, chose 3-5 Webkinz animals, print out individual pictures that show their faces in detail, and then let the bakery people know that you want each cupcake to have an animal face on it; this will get you beautiful Webkinz cupcakes!

Other Necessities
If you are going to be needing party bags, hats, plates, napkins, balloons, banners, table covers, and anything else like that, consider choosing three pastel colors and getting all of those things in those colors. You will usually save a lot of money doing this, as you can find cheap birthday party materials at dollar stores, Wal-Mart, party shops, and even at flower shops in solid colors at any time. You can also print out Webkinz banners using Microsoft Publisher, but you will need to design it on your own with Webkinz pictures that you can get online. If you would like to use other Webkinz pictures on hats, party bags, table covers, or balloons, make some print outs and use glue to decorate the solid things you purchase.
