Plant the Seed

mother earth lays to rest
broken shattered and torn
worn out by man's shadow
she's given too much blood

now to save her heart
it's time to fight for her
give a little of what we can
to help her grow again

feed the vines to help them grow
plant the seeds to help us breath
years of plenty we take for granted
now new hope this seed we've planted
