Plant a "Thank You" Garden as a Thanksgiving Gift to Show Gratitude

A garden created as a gift to show gratitude for love or friendship is always a beautiful present. The fall is a great time to plant bulbs to create a gratitude or thank you garden for someone.

Plant the garden as a surprise or have the gift recipient join in with you to create it if they enjoy gardening. This garden will bloom for years and will be a constant reminder of the gratitude you have to the person you created the garden for.

A gift in nature is always a special gift. A thank you garden reminds someone of how much they mean to you. This gift will bring a smile to the face of anyone who loves flowers.

Plant Flowers in a Heart Shape

Use pink or red tulip bulbs planted in the shape of a heart to make a cute symbol of love appear in the garden. This is an easy symbol to make and will bring a smile to the face of the one you love.

Plant Flowers to Spell out Initials or a Word

Use bulbs to create someone's initials out of flowers to give them a special gift. This garden will bring much delight to the person whose initials are spelled out with the flowers. When the bulbs burst into bloom the initials will be visible as a lovely surprise.

Make Symbols out of Flowers

It is cute to make a symbol out of flowers for a garden. You could plant the bulbs in the shape of a peace sign or any other symbol that has significance to the person who will be given the garden as a gratitude gift.

Bulbs to Use for a Gratitude Garden

Hyacinth

Hyacinth flowers bloom early in the spring. The sight of the chunky hyacinth leaves popping up from the earth are an indication that winter is over. Hyacinth flowers bloom in the colors of white, purple and pink.

The beautiful hyacinth flower also emits a lovely scent. With this flower in a spring garden the area will be very fragrant.

Tulips

The tall and regal tulip flower is an elegant addition to any garden. Any gardening store will have an immense variety of bulbs for tulips in all different colors. Tulip flowers are sturdy and pretty too.

Daffodils

Daffodils bloom in many different shades of yellow, ivory and white. This cheerful flower is easy to grow. The flowers typically are not eaten by deer so they are good to use in any area with a high deer population.

The daffodil flower adds much needed joy to a yard after a long winter. Daffodils are loved by almost everyone.

Plant a Rose Garden

You may also want to plant bare root rose bushes in the late summer or early fall months to start a new rose garden. This gratitude rose garden will bloom for many years and bring scent to the yard. Roses come in many different colors to you can plant a rainbow garden or focus on just one or two colors of roses.

Most people love the smell of roses. This gratitude garden will delight the owner of the new garden and guests who visit the yard as well.
