The Planters company has been in the business of nuts for over 103 years. The methods that Planters uses for preparing and selecting the finest nuts is tried and true. You can rest assured when you buy any Planters nut product from small pouches to large jars and cans of nuts you are getting only the best no matter what variety of nuts you are buying.

I like that Planters cashew halves and pieces are a good source of protein, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, copper an manganese, and that they are cholesterol free and low in sugar. These nuts are not fat free and they do contain a high amount of sodium per serving, but they are definitely healthier than eating potato chips when craving a crunchy and salty snack.

I have tried generic brands of cashews only to find I am only getting the tiniest pieces of cashews and been disappointed. Cashews are not a cheap nut, and when you are shelling out your cash you should at least get halves of the nut and not just tiny chunks and cashew dust in my opinion.
