Plantronics 510 Bluetooth Headset

I absolutely cannot live without my Plantronics 510 Bluetooth headset. I bought if for the obvious reason that I needed a headset. My phone will either use a wired or wireless Bluetooth headset, so I had a huge variety of choices. I chose the Bluetooth, even though it cost more than the regular kind of headsets. I loved the idea of being wireless. I absolutely hate to be tied down, or a wire rubbing on my face or neck so this was the obvious choice for me.

The head set features noise canceling Wind Smart technology so I can talk pretty much anyway and have clear voice quality. I find it most useful to have that feature when I'm in the car with the sunroof open. I love the idea that they only hear me and not the wind blowing by. This is also ideal for anyone that works outside. The noise canceling feature is also great for regular background noise.

The headset is an average size as far as headsets go. It is light weight with a comfort grip, after a while I forget I'm even wearing it. Other great features that I love include the one button answer and hang up feature located on the headset, the ability to pair to 2 devices, as well as be up to 33 feet away from my phone and still take a call. As if headsets were not small enough already, this one folds in half to fit into wallets, purses, pockets, cup holders, or wherever else you can think to store it.

The Plantronics 510 Bluetooth headset is a wonderful edition to my life. It allows me to stay connected, and be social while I continue to get things done in the office and at home. Since I've gotten the headset I actually don't mind sitting on the phone for an hour at home anymore. I feel like I get more accomplished with this hands free device.

This wonderful headset boasts a whopping 6 hours of talk time with 100 hours of standby time. It is, of course, worn over the ear and will swivel to accommodate either ear. It comes with a regular home charger, but there is a base station charger available for your home or office. Weighing in at ½ an ounce this little headset packs quite a punch!

The only thing that I would change about the headset would be the color. I'm not a big fan of black and silver. If it came in other colors or a way to change the color of the housing, it would be perfect!
