Plants Make a Playlist Happy

S. E. Masters
Saturday morning is quality time with the plants in our home. We talk to them and tell about all of the wonderful things that they are. Then we indulge them in a healthy protein formula/water mix, while being serenaded by the lovely sounds of an exceptional 68 minute playlist and a touch from their good friend the sun shining through open plantation shutters. Here are the first ten songs on the song playlist:

Number 1: Larry Carlton - The Lord's Prayer
Plants are spiritual. They are a reflection of God's brilliance.

Number 2: Larry Carlton - Discovery
Plants are curious. They glorify God at first sighting of the new sun. You also discover Carlton's greatness on the acoustic.

Number 3: Boston Pops - Bolero (Ravel)
Plants are humble. They quietly chant before the celebration. Makes you wonder what they do we no one is looking.

Number 4: Earl Klugh - Acoustic Lady
Plants are special. Their Maker is seen in their vibrancy. Klugh's unique style on the acoustic matches the uniqueness of each variety of foliage.

Number 5: Tom Browne - Night Wind
Plants enjoy a hearty breakfast. On this Dave Grusin arrangement trumpeter Tom Browne provides the perfect setting for you and your plants to catch up on what's been happening.

Number 6: Bill Withers - Lovely Day
Plants are happy. Like little kids, they thrive on the fun that a new day brings. Mr. Withers gives you no choice but to be happy.

Number 7: Herbie Hancock - Sweet Bird
Plants are sensual. Admire them with wonderment as Herbie and Wayne Shorter pay them the highest compliment.

Number 8: Al Jarreau - Roof Song
Plants are eccentric. They make us adapt to their liking and style. Every eccentric loves them some Al Jarreau. Bet.

Number 9: Chaka Kahn - Everlasting Love
Plants are loyal. Show them your love, and they will grow and love you forever. Chaka is very convincing.

Number 10: John Coltrane - Naima
Plants sleep peacefully. Coltrane can mesmerize an entire forest. All will stop and listen.
