Plastic Flowers Are Enemies of Honey Bees

Cut Down the Honey Suckle Vines

LarrWayne Po
Plastic flowers confuse the bees,

That work hard to make honey.

If you work as hard as the bees,

You are likely a money freak.

Have you seen bees going

From twig to twig,

Looking for pollen

On plastic petals.

Will they give up and die,

Being afraid to go home

Without a load for the day?

Perhaps for the honey bees,

We should pray.

Or perhaps we should pray

For the brutes

That think it is cute

To laugh at honey bees

That have lost their way.

Plastic flowers for substitutes

And statues

To replace the people?

Idolaters please go away.

Isn't it time

For your dismissal?

Take a picture,

If you love to look

And be dazed and amazed

At sights of the eyes.

Some have to work

And do worthwhile things.

Vanish. Say good bye.

While you are at it,

Being enemies to the bees,

Cut down the honey suckle vines.

Then whine to the government,

"Feed us please.

Take care of us and our cries".

LarrWayne, AKA Quack Jack of many trades. If the educated do not educate others, the long term pay back will be "We are surrounded by the uneducated and they want to rule over us". Politically incorrect poem...  View profile

I think people that spend their lives working for the almighty dollar will eventually find that the nectar of Spirit is found elsewhere; they are like bees trying to make honey out of plastic flowers! Interesting poem.

taking the educational aspect out of it, and a more emotional look, i feel sometimes like that bee going after the the plastic flower :) well written

I agree with the others, this is well done. I can kill plastic plants at the office ...we need these kinds of messages sent to D.C. my friend.

Fantastic writing ♥ Somewhere there may be someone who does not like this, but now I know why the bees are more aggressive lately - it is because of all the plastic flowers I put out. I will make it up to them when the fruit trees bloom.
