Even room décor items like trendy lamps, books, DVDs, CDs and footwear. I have found that they had a big supply of jeans on hand. It is organized by size and style.
When you go into the store, a team buyer from Plato's Closet will assist you. This team buyer will review your item and put it into their computer to see the demand value. They will then make an offer to you. Now, remember the payout depends on your condition of your item and the demand. If you are bringing in a lot of jeans and they have a lot of jeans on hand, good chance your offer will be low. You will be paid in cash right on the spot. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a good brand of jeans, it works in your favor when you save about 70% from the mall prices with that purchase.

Post a CommentThis franchise is a ripoff. Whatever you do, don't take clothes there to sell. They will "accidentally" give them away, or their employees will "steal" them.

I forgot to say I suggest to every1 that wants to shop there to google the many complaints of this store. They are from all over not just that takes me 45 mins to get to so thats why I was soooo mad when they turned me down this last time to look at my daughters clothes because its not like i live near there and they werent busy. Google ...please. I am boycotting the store myself. I can get good name brands on sales rakes for the same price. Teach your teens to do that instead of buying used clothes cause I got 4 pairs of jeans for my daughter at American Egle on sale for &100.00. But yet they want $20.00 a pair at Platoes and they are worn and used with holes.
Plato's Closet for the most part is a farce and has ripped off people and set there own rules in every store. I have taken clothes in 4 different times and been turned down with clothes hardly worn from American Eagle, Abercrombi, Aeropostale,Old Navy and other nice stores. makes no sense. Thenagain just 2 days ago they turned my daughter down again with the brands i mentioned because it was Tax Free wekend and they were to busy. With what 2 customers . Sounds like lazy employees. I have read where people have been ripped off with clothes left and that when they returned there clothes could not be found and they were only going to give then a $5.00 gift certificate. They wouldnt even take back a pair of nice jeans i had just bought there 6 mths ealier cause they said they had gone out of style. Jeans dont go out of style in 6 mths for people that are poor and shop cheap. I think Platoes Closet is a farce and will never shop there again.
