Love your kitchen and want to share your secrets of success? Get behind the hob and manage your own virtual cafe. Just as you are the farmer in Farmville and the Mafia Boss in Mafia Wars, you are the owner of the Cafe and also the cook in Cafe World. The game also progresses through many levels. It is essentially the same formula as the other games. You can plan and cook what you like on your three stoves and three counters.That's how you start. With each level up you can buy more stoves and add them to your cafe. The number of counters is always one less than the number of stoves. So you need to plan your cooking.

Some amount of money needs to be invested to cook each dish, and you sell it for more. If however you don't have a counter to serve the dish, it will stay on the stove for a while before it spoils. Then you have the cutest virtual flies floating around over it. So the investment is lost and you need to clean up the stove and begin cooking again. If you do have a dish on a counter, like say the burger, and you cook up one more batch you add the fresh one to the same counter. The number of servings go up and you still have a stove empty and ready to cook the next dish.

You can customize the look of your Cafe as well. The chairs, tables, wall paper, floor tiles are all available in various options. This customization has to wait till you have enough coins in the kitty. So that way you don't get stuck for money to cook dishes with. There are also options of adding lamps and flowers and a number of accessories. This is the part that my son enjoys the most. He's loving changing the look of the cafe each day, which leaves little money for me to actually cook stuff. Still he has fun and so do I.

It is even possible to change the clothes of the chef. You can look as much as yourself as you like in your virtual avtaar. Only trouble is in Farmville you can change the look of the farmer for free. Here in Cafe World you have to buy each and every thing from a pair of shoes to the hair style you like. You can't change the avtaars of the friends you hire as waiters in the cafe though. They have to do that themselves in their own cafes. You can expand the area of the Cafe when you have the necessary funds and number of neighbours.

It is not yet possible to photograph your cafe like you could your farms. I guess they will come up with it soon enough. Cafe World is better suited to those of us more urbanly inclined. It is just as addictive as farming...I'm not getting a lot of work done these days between Farmville and Cafe World. Not to mention the draw of being the Don in Mafia Wars!
