Play the "Easter Word Hunt" Game with Kids

Kids love to play games all year long and Easter time is no different. Many kids look forward to Easter to have an Easter egg hunt. That is traditional and you should do it with kids; however, don't let the fun stop there. There are more games to play. Here is how you can play the "Easter word hunt" game.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

You will need a chalk board, white board, or large poster board to write a word on that is related to Easter, such as Chocolate, Basket, Flowers, or you could use multiple words like "Easter Egg Hunt" if you would like. You will also need a pencil and paper for each child.

PLAY THE EASTER WORD HUNT:

To play the Easter word hunt game, simply write the Easter word on your board, or have your poster boards prepared with the Easter related words that you are going to use. Next, set a time limit in which the kids have to write down as many words as they can make with the letters in the Easter word or words that you have given them.

Make some ground rules, like they can only use each letter once and they can use any of the letters in any order, they do not have to go in the order that the letters are in the word. Let them know that they can skip around and even go backwords in the word to use the letters. Some kids may not understand it the first round, but they will catch on soon, and love this fun Easter game.
