You can now take your Little League Team to Williamsburg without leaving your home and while playing Little League World Series 2010 on your Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Activision has released Little League World Series 2010 for the xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and it brings the Little League to your console. Best of all, it doesn't require you to suit up, put a glove on, or even travel to Williamsburg. All that's required is to turn on your favorite console and grab a controller.

First if you're looking for a serious baseball simulation game, this isn't the one. But if you're under 14 and looking for a fun and enjoyable baseball game that centers around the Little League World Series, this one is for you. Fun graphics, great gameplay, and a series of minigames sets this apart from most baseball simulations. For years, there have been serious baseball games for the video game console market, and they haven't captured younger game players because they are too hard or too serious. All that's required to play this one, is a desire to have fun and a wanting to win. You can hear the aluminum bats, play by play by two great announcers (Brent Musburger and Gary Thorne), and a good controller.

You can enter your team from the beginning or play exhibition mode. You're able to take your team all the way to Williamsburg if you win all your games and feel like you're there. This is a truly fun baseball game since it feautres a fun gameplay element, great fun graphics, and trade up options to make your players better throughout the series.

It's not hard to move the fielders and pitching isn't a 60 page manual. Hitting the baseball is also very easy and doesn't require a lesson from Tony Gwynn. Fielders move to where they need to and you can play the game in a relatively short time.

The series of minigames within Little League World Series 2010 is amazing as well. There's one called the Darts Pitching Challenge that tests your pitching abilities and is fun to play.

Most baseball games require difficult combinations of the controller and require younger minds to grasp concepts that they don't know yet, but not this one. This is a pick it up and play baseball game for all ages.
