Play Online Lotto: Netwinner.com Beta

You Play, We Pay?

I found a a lotto type website called "Netwinner.com Beta". I joined. If you can get 25,000 points, you can exchange your points for various giftcards. You can also hit on a different array of numbers and win anything from 100 points to the jackpot about a cool million, inbetween there are different amounts you can try to win, $25.00, $250.00, etc..

In the beginning, I was rolling the points out..10 points here..25 points there, and once 500 points. I was getting pretty excited about it all, I hit 6,000 points, only 19,000 away from a $25.00 giftcard!. Visions of me sitting in the Olive Garden, sucking down the awesome breadsticks, rolled through my mind. Then, just as suddenly as I started getting points..it stopped, I would stare at the moniter in utter disbelief, as the numbers were checked. I played for an hour..not even a 10 point win. Time for me to check their forums, maybe I am doing something wrong. I peruse their forums for about 10 minutes, and see a posting it says "empty your cookies", ahhh..so thats it!. I empty the cookies, restart my computer, and think "Now..were going to get some points!"..How wrong I was..

This game is paid for by advertisements that you watch beside the numbers, which is fine with me, it causes me no harm, and as far as I know, it doesn't harm my computer. Its still in a Beta phase, so there is still time for the owners and programmers to fine tune it. It seems to me, like they get you "hooked" on the game, by giving you many points at first, and then they taper it off, to barely any points at all. Then you keep playing thinkng, perhaps your "luck" will change.

Its a great idea, and could pull in alot of advertisers, people LOVE to win things. I know I would, However..how much time would you need to throw into it, in order to get the 25,000 points?..well, I played for 4 days, and got to 6,500 points..easy!. Now things have changed, I played for 2 hours straight, late last night..30 points. yes.. 30 points. I am thinking at this rate, it would take me 6 months to be able to get to the Olive Garden on their Giftcard.

Like I said before, its IS a Beta version, they still have time to work out any bugs. Hopefully, they will make it better pointwise, for us all. I am hoping they just need to fix a few things, tune it up a bit. I do love to play, when I get a chance. I get a little thrill when I see the number blink up with that green edge..you won! 25 points!, would love to see it again, but I have a sinking feeling, that will not happen anytime soon, unfortunately.

Another news article has now been published by the Raleigh "News & Observer".

Guess we can thank the folks at "theopenforum" for their diligence in getting these news articles published (doubt that the realism of these articles is what they intended). Unlike the Netwinner forum which was taken offline, it appears "theCLOSEDforum" is still online but closed to anyone who doesn't swear, degrade people, make blind monetary donations to them and attempt to incite a riot against Netwinner within at least a 30 day cycle or they are banned.

I prefer to be able to examine all sides myself!

A new forum was set up to assist those who were scammed by Netwinner. Please be sure to stop in and say Hi!

When I tried to register, I found that the Site is restricted to US, Canada & UK only.
Dont you think, we from India also should be allowed?

It is free but be aware it appears to be fixed so when you get the first 2 numbers the numbers in the circles disappear and you don't get paid nor do you get to see if the other numbers are winners cause they all clear. This happened to me twice within a half an hour
