Playmate Holly Flutters Ousted from 'Dancing W T Stars'

Season 8, week 4 of Dancing with the Stars showcases Gilles Marini, a French actor with dancer Cheryl Burke in an encore steamy sensual Argentina Tango (watch it again, click HERE) to "Assassin's Tango" by John Powell. Cheryl is a two-time Dancing with the Stars champion with partners Drew Lachey, singer in Season 2 and Emmit Smith, former football player, in Season 3. She also took 3^rd place in Season 6 with actor Cristian de la Fuente.

The couple has the first perfect score of 30 for Season 8 and they are definitely heading to the top three. They tied with Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas in week 4 of Season 5. Gilles with his precise and sensual moves is a strong contender of DWTS, but a relatively unknown French actor in America, he definitely needs an increasing fan base to get him the championship.

Lil' Kim & Derek Hough dancing the Argentina Tango are the first couple to receive the first 10 of the season while Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani dancing the Lindy Hop receive the first score of two 10's.

The bottom 3 couples with the 3 lowest judges' scores are: Playmate Holly Madison, Apple Steve Wozniak and Realty Steve-O. Madison and Steve Wozniak are the 3^rd and 4^th eliminated in the show's first midseason double elimination. Steve-O saved by his reality fan base is lucky to survive another season, however his dancing days are numbered as it is highly unlikely that he'll ever morph into a dancer, with or without drugs.

Holly falls off her stool during the dance routine which throws her off the rest of her Argentina Tango. Holly who loves her costumes, never seem to shake her ditsy fluttering "Barbie" image to transition into dancing, and it's not surprising she has to go. Chubby Apple Steve Wozniak is next to go. Love for him to stay, what with his perpetual positive uplifting spirit, but that's not enough staying power to continue dancing at Dancing with the Stars. Love that he laughs at himself, he does a funny "Footloose" dance routine at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and he is gracious and sweet boosting Holly'sdancing confidence. Having a dancing stint at Dancing the Stars perhaps he might continue to learn Ballroom dancing and get out of the Teletubby funk and infuse rhythm and posturing into his dance movements. Now, that would make a great after DWTS story for the media and keep him in the public eye. His exuberant attitude can surely carry him through, and eventually the euphoria and passion of Ballroom Dancing will kick in resulting in pounds shed while spicing up his romance, A little known secret to men: a woman gliding in the arms of a good dancer is a powerful aphrodisiac attracting women, but few men have the courage to try to dance and discover this bewitching charm .

Some new ideas to rejuvenate Dancing with the Stars Season 8 include the introduction of 3 of my favorites: Argentina Tango, Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing. Also there was a dance-off between the bottom two couples to determine who was to be eliminated in the first two eliminations. Argentina Tango with its love/hate relationship and new injected ideas are a welcome breadth of fresh incorporated into the same old format of previous DWTS seasons.

Season 8, with or without the infusion of new ideas, already had some sensationalism of injured body parts before the season even began, and a Shawn Johnson stalker. The show's first ever couple of husband and wife competing against each other so heavily advertised was scraped when singer/songwriter Jewel Kilcher (husband Ty Murray, rodeo champion) withdrew due to tibia injury and she was replaced by Holly Madison, a Playmate. A DWTS favorite, Evelyn O'Dell of Access Hollywood also withdrew because of a torn meniscus requiring surgery was replaced by The Bachelor'sjilted gal, Melissa Rycroft. Melissa's last minute casting brought ABC a lot of publicity and she is from the first dance, one of the best contenders of Dancing with the Stars landing her in the top three couples contending for the mirror trophy, with her dance partner Toni. Toni Dovolani certainly deserves a championship. In Season 2, Tony and Stacy Keibler was placed 3^rd, but with his previous partners of Jane Seymour and Susan Lucci, they were eliminated mid-season.

Ty Murray, rodeo dancer (partner Chelsie Hightower) has come to his own, is highly complimented by Bruno for his Lindy Hop. He may be a one-time dancing wonder, nonetheless, watch out Chuck Wicks (a country singer who dances Lindy Hop with his real life girlfried/ professional dancer, Julianne Hough)!
