On September 17, Sony will release its motion control system, PlayStation Move for thePS3. Move consists of the wand, the navigation controller, and the Eye camera. One wand will cost $49.99, one navigational controller cost $29.99 and an Eye camera is about $39.99. At E3 2010, Sony previewed many games compatible with Move, but what games will be available in time for the Christmas season?

Move game: Sports Champions
Sports Champions will be available alone for $39.99 or in a bundle for $99.99. The bundle includes the game, the Move wand, and the Eye. Just like Wii Sports, Champions will feature friendly sports competitions. Some of the activities included are volleyball, table tennis, archery and dueling. There are different modes like free play and champion cup where you can compete for medals. It is rated E for Everyone.

Move game: EyePet
Releasing the same day as Move is EyePet. It lets players create and care for their own virtual pet. There are over 250 different outfits for your pet, plus the ability to chose fur length, color, and pattern. the EyePet is completely interactive. You can wash, feed, and play with it. The pet will purr, laugh, and respond to your actions. By recording your pet's activities, you can share them online. EyePet is rated E and will retail for $39.99.

Move game: The Fight Lights Out
In this game, players are battling their way up the ranks. The Fight is not your typically boxing game. Players are a bare knuckled boxer fighting in the boxing underground. Players can use a variety of unconventional moves like elbowing the opponent. Characters can train in the gym or battle in street fights. By winning, new moves are unlocked. There is a campaign mode where players can test their fighting skills against A.I. opponents. It will be released in October and is rated T for Teens.

Move game: LittleBigPlanet 2
While it's not a Move exclusive, there will be Move compatibility. LBP2 is the sequel to 2008's cute puzzle/platformer starring Sackboy. LBP2 will feature backward compatibility with the first one and all DLCs from the original can be played. There is also new tools to help Sackboy like a grappling hook and Power Gloves. The game will be updated with new items even after its November release. It will retail for $59.99. Although the rating is pending, it will probably be E10+.

Move game: Lord of the Rings Aragorn's Quest
Aragorn's Quest will have Move support. By using the Move controllers, players will battle with a sword in one hand and a shield in the other. Aragorn can also use the bow and arrow. The game is being touted as a more family friendly version of the story. On the PS3, two player co-op is available with the second person controlling Gandalf. Throughout the game, players will be able to upgrade weapons and combat skills. Then more cartoon like art style of the game is different from past Lord of the Rings titles. It is rated T, will release on September 14, and costs $59.99.

Move game: Brunswick Pro Bowling
A motion control system wouldn't be complete without a bowling game. On September 19, Move will get its own bowling game. There will be plenty of trophies to collect and items to unlock. Your character is fully customizable with different clothes, shoes, and bowling balls. While Wii Sports bowling is more of a mini-game, Brunswick Pro Bowling has players battling for the world championship. It will be rated E and will retail for $39.99

While the most talked about PlayStation Move games like Sorcery and Heroes on the Move won't be released until 2011, there are still plenty of games releasing in time for Christmas. Move games like EyePet and The Fight show that PlayStation is trying satisfy gamers of all ages and skill levels. Hopefully, these early titles will be the start of a rich motion control experience for PS3 fans.

Given the cost of all the parts needed I think Sony's really going to take it on the chin with this one. Most consumers are going to see this as a Wii knock off and not care if the movement detection is better.
