Pleading for Forgiveness
Poetry: An Emotional Expression of Thoughts
Many days I have seen the sadness in your face,
Carefully avoiding my curious eyes.
I know the pain I have caused you and
I regret all that I have done.
You push away my outreached hand
And do not allow me to be sorry.
Why carry on this hurt in your heart?
I have pleaded for your forgiveness;
But you turn the other way.
Will you keep this hatred toward me forever?
When will you learn to trust me again?
I have tried to clear this fog between our relationship-
But you keep bringing it back.
