LV My name is Lyn Vaccaro, I'm 46 years old and am the mother of 8 kids and the wife of a great guy named Andre'. I have a background in nutrition and owned and operated my own health food store for a number of years before starting a family. I have always been interested in taking control of my own health and I try to inspire others to do the same. I have a bit of a focus on fertility and try to help women and men take control over that aspect of their health too.
DP: What initially drew you to AC? Or, How did you hear of AC?
LV I bumped into AC on accident while looking into pro-blogging and was very interested in trying this and am still here.
DP: What genre are you wanting to publish the most?
LV My genre' is Health and Wellness with more of a focus on fertility/infertility issues, and since health and wellness is my lifestyle it follows suit that I'm probably going to write about that most. However, I would be open to learning to write in other categories as well.
DP: What are your favorite titles so far?(Don't be modest.)
LV A couple of my favorite titles are "Fertility Extension", "5 Attributes to Longevity", my many articles that include the "Connection" in them...for example "Heart Disease and the Digestion Connection". With so many health issues being directly related to digestion, I thought the word "connection" sounded good with that!
DP: How has AC Treated you so far?(Support, that is)
LV I feel really good about the way I've been treated on AC. I think they're giving me a fair shake. I'll be sticking around.
DP: Where else have you been published?
LV Since I'm new to doing this I have only been published one other place called "Green Thumb". It's a new site focused on gardening. It's a great site!
DP: Please tell us about your favorite pet.
LV My favorite pet was were my 2 Irish Setters, Andee and Kendra.... they were Aunt and niece. They've been dead a couple years and I miss them alot!
DP: What would you do with a million dollars?
LV If I had a million dollars I would make first make sure I'd Glorify God somehow with some of it, I'd probably do something for under privileged kids. Then I'd make sure I invested it well so keep making money...because today even a million bucks isn't much...especially with my size family. I'd make sure the kids were well educated. If I could I'd probably adopt a kid or 2 with it as well...( I know I'm nuts!).
DP: In 100 words or more; where do you want to be when you're 50?
LV At 50 years old I want to be physically fit with a toddler on my arm, and all the rest of my kids in front of him/her. I don't feel I am too old to have another baby because of the lifestyle I live. I suppose if I was eating lots of burgers and pizza I would'nt be such a great candidate to have a baby @ this age but because 80% of my diet is raw... I'm reaping the benefits of that and my health is fabulous . I would like to be as busy as I am now .....with my life filled to the brim with family and writing. I really have no desire to travel the world or chase money to the point of driving myself nuts. I find much more meaning in good times spent with my husband and kids.
DP: What is you're favorite quote about writing?(and who get's the credit?)
LV My favorite quote about writing would be is something my husband once said..." what's great about writing is what the individual writing gains from it".
DP: If you had any advice for newbies to get better exposure, what would you say?
LV My advice for any newbie (of which I am one of), is to try to think out of the box with your writing and find something that can sort of be your signature. I think our unique personalities can come through even though we aren't engaged in a verbal conversation face to face with someone. Find ways to bring your unique personality through.
I hope this will be helpful in your article. Thank you so much for including me in it.... by the way, what made you interested in me for your article? Are you a health freak like myself? LOL! Thanx for letting me participate!
DP: Oh you're quite welcome my dear.
