Spring - that most lauded of seasons,
As life breaks free
From winter's cold heart,
Never ceases to amaze,
Nature's fickle dart.

Nature's fickle dart.

OOOO, perfect. :-) Enjoyed. I am waiting on Spring and it's just around the corner. Great writing. Spring poetry always makes me smile.
Beautiful. I love the line 'nature's fickle dart.'
What an excellent piece; I could actually hear the birds singing.
I'm one of the few people I know that actually likes the cold weather. Still, it will be nice to see some flowers bloom. ;-)
i love it! (=
Be happy to see some warmer weather.
It's cllose -really close - the crocuses are blooming....
I like all seasons, but readily admit that winter is my least favorite. Especially difficult for one who loves plants; one who longs for blue skys and the vibrant greens of fully opened nature.
Short, sweet and true!
