If you have found this article it is likely that you are having some feelings that could lead you to suicide. My hope is that you will spend the next few moments with me and let me talk to you.

My purpose here is not to judge you. If you have found me here then I can only assume that you must be hurting deeply. Please stay here with me for a moment. Right now, you can choose to be safe. You can read my words and find a realization that someone cares about you right now. That's right, I care about you this moment. Whatever it is that has happened to you, no matter what you have done, no matter what you have been through or are feeling or thinking, I care about you.

I believe that every life is so very precious. You are very precious. No matter what has happened or who has hurt you, you must believe that you are so very wonderful and your life has meaning on this earth. You are worthy of being cared about. If I were there with you at this moment I would hold your hand, look you in the eye and tell you that no matter what it is, we can get through this.

Please cling to my words for a little bit longer. My fear is that you have no one to talk to right now and that you are alone. If you are alone right now please let me be there with you. Let my words be your company for just a few more minutes. Is there anyone you can call? Please do not be embarrassed that you have stumbled across these words. Your feelings are so very normal, I know it doesn't feel that way, but they are.

Can you stay with me a little bit longer? If there is someone that you can call I hope that you will call them right now and let them know you just need someone to talk to. I know you must be hurting and I know that you do not need to be alone right now. If I could be there to listen to you I would be there in a heartbeat. I love people and I am convinced that you must be wonderful, whether you feel that way at the moment or not. I know that somewhere, someone loves you very, very much and would be so saddened by your death.

Please know that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. No matter your problem, things can be fixed. It may feel hopeless right now, but things can almost always be fixed if you give it just a little time. Your situation CAN improve. You are not alone, and I hope that you will decide to stay with us and let someone help you. Please do not take your own life. Please try to see down the road a month or a year or ten years. All of this pain and despair can be put behind you. Please do not leave, please know that someone cares very much about you, and though I do not know you, I do not want you to perish from this earth.

Please know that you are precious, you are loved and you cannot be replaced. You have so many wonderful things left to experience in this life and whatever your peril, it can all be overcome if you just believe. Please talk to me, talk to a friend, talk to someone. No one will judge you for being in so much pain. If you are hurting deeply enough to take your own life then you just need someone to help you deal with the pain and uncertainty that you are facing. We are so weak as humans, we cannot bear great pain alone. You do not have to be alone. I do not pretend to know your circumstances, but I can only assume that you may feel like no one could possibly understand or care about what you are going through. Like I said before, I do not know you but I want to help you. I care about you and I care about your life.

If you are still with me please consider staying awhile longer. There are so many people that can talk with you, listen to you and help you get through this dark moment in your life. If you are afraid or ashamed please know that you do not have to be. Please know that you are loved and no one wants you to leave this earth. Please stay with us a little bit longer and know that you are cared about... even by someone like me who does not know your story. Your life is precious, please do not end it.
