United States of America
It is indeed a pleasure for me to vote; as many of my ancestors did not get the right to vote. Today was a pleasant experience and no stressors at the voting site, just friendly quiet voices. I counted the signs to and from the polls; 27 for various candidates; the American Way. I am hoping all those who choose to vote have transportation to the polls today. My goodness, it must have been so frustrating and stressful for those back in history and those in our world now who had no rights to vote, no transportation, no friendly greeters to assist with special needs. Don't know why others don't use their right of passage to vote. I suppose it's not my business and non-voters have the right not to vote but it is so sad. So many Americans and people around the world are refused the right to vote, some even killed. I just dont understand none voters in this day and age. It is my hope that all of you driving voters give transportation to those who need it so everyone who choose to vote-can vote.
I am so proud to be an American in this country. As I view the news and watch people being beaten, shot, killed, restrained from voting it saddens me. I know America is not perfect but we have the freedom to vote by choice. So in memory of my ancestors, your ancestors, and people around the world we must all vote for our choices regardless of what political party we claim. God Bless America:)
Thanks Brookville for a well organized, friendly, clean, and safe voting site!!!
