During the colder months, Ferndale residents have several opportunities to come out and watch junior varsity and varsity basketball teams, as well as wrestling teams and swimming teams compete with other area schools. In addition, there are a number of musical events to choose from. These include choral and band concerts and competitions.
Many of the events are during the week, while others are on Saturdays, giving everyone a chance to watch their favorite event. The Ferndale Public Schools calendar has a list of all athletic and music events for January and February. You can view the calendar by logging onto http://www.ferndaleschools.org/calendar.html
