The Pleo Dinosaur by UGOBE is a little robotic toy. Pleo is so cute and lifelike that you will want to cuddle with him. Pleo is a 20.7" tall, 3.5 pound baby Camarasaurus dinosaur that walks, plays, interacts and displays emotion. The same people that made Furby make the Pleo Dinosaur. Pleo is much more advanced and lifelike than Furby.

Pleo is an advanced robot toy. You can't help but be amazed when watching his curious nature as he walks around and interacts with you and the world around him. His vocal and physical gestures are so lifelike that it leaves you wondering if he really can feel emotions. When Pleo walks up to you and nudges you for affection, you might be convinced that he is alive.

Pleo navigates the world with his ability to hear, see and feel. You can tell Pleo to do various things by talking to him and touching him. Pleo comes with a manual to teach you how to interact with him.

When you first get Pleo, he is a newly hatched baby. As time goes on and he interacts with the world, he starts to grow up (mentally and emotionally that is). When Pleo is first hatched, he needs comfort just like any baby does. Speak to him and pet him to let him know that the world is not a scary place. Yes, Pleo can hear and feel you.

Your Pleo is hatched and is now an infant. He walks towards you and nudges your hands. He looks up at you and responds vocally to your voice. Pleo makes baby dinosaur sounds of course.

Pleo starts to grow up and is now a juvenile. He has more courage and begins to explore the world. Watch out, just like any youngster, Pleo will explore items that he finds. The world has so many things for Pleo to explore. For a fun game, play tug of war with Pleo. That's right, Pleo likes to play games.

Pleo can do tricks. He can shake hands, stand up on two legs and even sing. Need a watchdog? Pleo can be your watch dinosaur. He will growl when intruders are around. Your Pleo can even make friends with other Pleo's.

After Pleo spends the day walking around and exploring, he may get hungry. Offer Pleo a leaf to eat. If he is hungry, he will start chewing.

There are so many things that you can do with Pleo. He is so cute; you will probably want to cuddle with him. Pleo likes to cuddle, so cuddle away.

You can be mean to Pleo and scare him by holding him upside down and shaking him. I don't know why anyone would want to do that to poor Pleo. Hearing his little dinosaur screams could break any person's heart.

Like any youngster, Pleo tires easily. Pleo needs to be plugged in to charge his rechargeable battery quite often. It takes Pleo 4 hours to fully recharge, which will give him about an hour of playtime.

The Pleo Dinosaur by UGOBE feels emotions. Knowing how to read his emotions can help you interact with him. Pleo can be happy, hungry, curious, scared and shy. He will let you know how he is feeling with his body language and vocal noises. Pleo comes with an instruction manual to help you know what all of his gestures and vocalizations mean.

Is the Pleo Dinosaur by UGOBE a robot like the ones only seen in science fiction movies? He is close! He does not really have artificial intelligence like the robots in sci-fi movies. His feelings are just programmed and not real. But even as I write this, after seeing Pleo, I have a hard time convincing myself that he doesn't really feel emotions. Pleo may not really be alive, but the fact that one can question if he is, is a testament to the amazing job UGOBE has done designing this robot.
