PMA Acceptance Speech: Top Performing Text of 2007

When I first learned I was receiving an award for Top Performing Text Content of 2007 I have to admit I was surprised. What started off as just a simple experiment in SEO has turned out to be something that was far more successful than I could have imagined.

I would like to thank AC for being here, it provides a unique opportunity to many great writers who may have otherwise gone unnoticed. I would also like to thank those who had taken the time to explain what SEO is all about on the forums, a lot of the information there has proven invaluable.

The success of this article has come with many benefits. More valuable than the monetary rewards is the things I have learned from its success. I hope it can serve as an example of what can be achieved with proper search engine optimization for other writers here on AC.
