PMS

PMS otherwise known as Pushing My Sanity can be a rather bothersome thing, but at times it can work for us instead of against us. During this phase we can generally get away with whatever is is we want, because people are going to have sympathy for us or think we've lost our minds either way the odds are in our favor.

Compliments at this time feel like insults; if by some chance someone says "you look very nice today", your response will be something like "are you saying that I looked bad before?"

Those around you walk on eggshells because they never know which one of your PMS personalities they will be acquainted with that day. Will you be patient? Will you be depressing? Will you be hyper? Will you have a chip on your shoulder? Maybe this will be the day that you decide to be all of the above? This way you will be sure not to leave any stone unturned.

Questions become very irritating, so please steer clear of small children. When you go to a restaurant try not to verbally abuse the server when they ask if you need anything else. Assuming that they should already know whether or not you do.

Significant others don't have a chance in the world. Every couple should have a Get Away Fund. This Fund will insure that the other half will be able to keep themselves busy outside of the home until you go to bed. Now there is a catch to this as well. If they stay out too long you're going to be upset about it, after all we are talking about Pushing My Sanity(PMS)

Clothes are another issue; the bloating is going to be ridiculous. Nothing is going to fit right, and after trying on your third pair of pants you just give up. Hey it's the weekend why not just walk around in your jogging pants all day. Later you can go to the store and find some pants with elastic in the waist.

If you can make it through PMS without losing your mind, harming yourself or others please be sure to give yourself a congratulatory pat on the back. You've successfully made it through yet another month!
