Peace Lodge
The Peace Lodge is located within La Paz Waterfall Gardens Park, about one hour's drive from San Jose Airport. Named as one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations in the world by the "Travel Channel," the lodge offers standard and deluxe guestrooms as well as a free-standing, one-bedroom villa with a loft. All guest accommodations have private baths, Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces, satellite TV, refrigerators and coffeemakers. Guests of the lodge also enjoy the property's hiking trails, five waterfalls, hummingbird garden, lagoon pool and Jacuzzi, trout lake and aviary. Because the owners want to encourage guests to see other parts of Costa Rica, stays are limited to four nights.

Xandari Resort
Xandari Resort and Spa is a collection of 22 villas set on 40 acres in central Costa Rica, about 20 minutes from San Jose airport. All guest accommodations feature a private terrace, bar kitchen and small refrigerator. Some units have full kitchens and private plunge pools. Located in the foothills of the Poas Volcano, the Poas Volcano Lodge offers six guest rooms and suites, all with private baths and wireless Internet access (for a small fee).
