The décor inside Poblano's Mexican Restaurant is a mix of old world and southwestern. The colors on the wall are muted hues of off white, tara cotta tiles on the floor and wood surrounds the lower portion of the walls. The artwork is filled with water scenes and landscapes, so it really gives you a feel of calm and serenity. The booths are a sand color and very comfortable as well as stylist. The menu at Poblano's Mexican Restaurant is extensive; they have so many choices of Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas and Fajitas that it will be hard to choose just one.
I started my meal with their version of Chicken soup which was packed with chicken that was moist and flavorful. The rice was cooked perfectly so that it was not too hard and not too soft. The broth was seasoned to perfection and had just the right amount of spice to really give it an outstanding taste. That along with all the vegetables made this the perfect Chicken Soup. The next thing we tried was the Shrimp Fajitas which comes with salad and your choice of beans. This Fajitas comes with the shell on top, so you can arrange it the way you like it. The flavors were wonderful! The grilled shrimp was nice and tender and had a great flavor of Mexican spices and the beans were reminiscent of authentic re-fried beans. The salad was just a nice way to finish up the dish.
Poblano's Mexican Restaurant has other favorites that include their Taco Loco, Steak Ranchero, Shrimp Burrito, Grilled Chicken and Crème Chicken just to name a few. Not only will you enjoy your meal, but you will be entertained by the roaming Mexican Band that comes to each table to give you a little flavor of Mexico's music. They play everything from love songs to vibrant upbeat songs that entice you to get up and dance.
Poblano's Mexican Restaurant is opened from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 11: p.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bottom-line: Good food, Great prices that range from $4.00 to $10.00 for lunch and from $6.00 to $20.00 for Dinner. Family friendly and convenient to shopping and entertainment.
