Pocketbook to Go for Mother's Day

A "pocketbook to go" is the perfect gift for you to give your mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, etc. as a Mother's Day gift. It is a pocketbook that is filled with various items that might usually be carried in a pocketbook.

Some ideas include the following: a keychain, a mini mirror, a pocketbook size comb and brush, an eyeglass case, a small pack of tissues, a wallet, a change purse, a notepad, a pen, a cosmetic bag, and a planner (whether daily or weekly).

Depending on your budget, you need to decide how many items you will include inside the pocketbook. Also remember that the items listed above come in various prices, so shop accordingly.

Make sure to remove any paper that is inside the pocketbook before you begin to place the items inside. You can either wrap or not wrap each item that you place inside the pocketbook. That is your decision.

If the store where you purchased the pocketbook offers gift boxes inquire if they have a box for the pocketbook. If the store does not have a gift box or you purchased the pocketbook in a store that does not offer gift boxes, you have three choices.

You can try to buy a box that will hold the pocketbook, or you can buy a gift bag or you can simply wrap the pocketbook. If you are not using a box you might want to wrap the pocketbook in tissue paper first and then finish wrapping with your favorite wrapping paper. For a decorative touch, you can add a bow or ribbon or if you like you can use both.
